HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

We make scheduling easy! After you've completed your purchase of a Service Plan or One-Time Appointment, you will be able to link directly to our scheduling calendar (from the Order Confirmation Page). We will also send the link in your Order Confirmation Email, in case you'd like to schedule your appointment at a later time. When you arrive at the scheduling home page, you will choose your preferred date, and we will display all available appointment times for our piano technicians in your area. Once you choose your preferred time, we will confirm with the piano technician, and then send a firm appointment confirmation to you via email. When your initial appointment has been completed (and depending on the Service Plan that you've purchased), we will send reminder notifications to let you know when you should schedule your next appointment. If you buy a plan that includes 3 service appointments, for example, we will be in touch with you every 4 months.

WHAT TYPES OF SERVICE PLANS CAN I PURCHASE?

We offer three Service Plan options for both SPIRIO and non-SPIRIO pianos. If you are a SPIRIO owner, choose a plan from the SPIRIO SERVICE PLAN category. We will be sure to assign a piano technician who also has specialized training in servicing the electronic components unique to SPIRIO. For owners of all other pianos, choose a plan from the STANDARD SERVICE PLAN category.

WHAT WILL EACH SERVICE APPOINTMENT CONSIST OF?

Our full-service appointments will entail much more than a standard tuning. Every appointment will begin with an initial assessment of the pitch, touch and tone of the instrument. Once an overall assessment is completed, the technician will tune the piano to standard pitch, including any pitch adjustment as needed. The technician will then address concerns of touch and tone. Our goal is to provide the highest standard of care and maintenance of your instrument.

HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL APPOINTMENT?

The length for any individual appointment can vary based on the condition of the instrument, but a typical service call from our technicians will take approximately 2 hours (2.5 hours for Spirio). We expect your piano to always perform impeccably, and our attention to detail will ensure that.

WHAT IF MY PIANO IS NOT A STEINWAY?

No problem! Our piano technicians have had years of experience working on all styles and brands of pianos. We are happy to service your piano, even if it is a brand outside of the Steinway family. We bring the same level of detailed care and maintenance to all pianos, regardless of the brand.

WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major credit cards, and PayPal.

WILL I BE CHARGED SALES TAX?

Yes. We are required to collect sales tax for all purchases. Sales tax will be calculated during the checkout process, and displayed clearly before you enter your payment information.
